Dan Tatro is a highly experienced fitness professional and veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne who has been coaching clients in California since 2009. He uses his background in exercise science and military-forged discipline to design science-based, results-driven programs that improve health, longevity, and overall well-being for clients at every level, from older, deconditioned beginners to seasoned, already-fit individuals. His coaching focuses on educating the client, personal responsibility, and structured accountability in a supportive, judgment-free environment, pairing consistent training with a nutrient-dense, minimally processed diet to build lifelong strength, confidence, and resilience.

  • M.S.: Master’s degree in Nutrition (with high distinction) from Liberty University.
  • B.S.: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Vermont.
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
  • Certified by the Cancer Exercise Training Institute (CETI).
  • Certified NFPT Cancer Recovery Specialist.
  • Decorated Infantry Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division with deployments to Afghanistan in 2003 and Iraq in 2004.
