What I enjoy about Dan is that I feel that I am getting a great workout and I can actually see the results in my body. Dan listened to my needs and created a work out plan that was customized to what I wanted. I currently work out three days a week with him as a semi-private and private client. I like the personal attention from a private session once a week as it allows us to work together in tweaking the program to fit my goals. Being a semi-private client, I have worked out with about ten of Dan’s other clients and have been able to personally see the different and caring attention that he gives to each person. I’m always impressed that Dan remembers the workouts and weights from a week ago (for example) which has you not waste time going back and forth changing weights to give you more time working out. The workouts that I also receive do not leave me feeling completely sore and hurting the next day. I feel that I have worked out, but I feel stronger and healthier. Dan also stresses eating right and exercising at home–which I am still working on!

I trained with Cody for 5 months, from July to November 2021, and only have great things to say about this place. Cody is very knowledgeable and patient. He fixed a lot of my bad workout habits and taught me how to move to make the most out of my workout. He also showed me exercises to relieve the neck stiffness I had after long hours at a desk job, which greatly improved my sleep quality. His training programs are fun and challenging and I have never thought I would like circuit training! I truly enjoyed every single session with Cody. Dan is very resourceful and reliable. If you ask him questions about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, he will give you clear guidance based on scientific research. You will also learn tons by reading the resources he shares with you. This gym is not a typical gym that only helps you lose weight and have a toned body. You can learn so many things that impact your lifestyle for the long term. Another huge plus – you can train while watching beautiful sunset with the pristine lake view.

I spent 2 years here working with my trainer, Codie. I learned a lot in my time at OC Fitness, and Codie always took the time to delicately balance working at my pace with pushing my limits. He’s incredibly supportive, and made each workout session fun and rewarding. Definitely a highlight of my day! The atmosphere at the gym is very welcoming.

If you are looking for results then I would highly recommend Dan and his team. I first started working out here in July and I can see a huge difference in my body. Not only have I lost weight and look more toned but I have more energy every day, my diet is under control, and my endurance when I work out so much better. Everyone at OC fitness is motivating and pushes for you to succeed.

I was told by a doctor I was pre diabetic and basically one cookie away from full diabetes. So I stopped making excuses and decided to get my health in check. I went here based off yelp reviews, and I am so very glad I did. I’ve worked with all of the trainers in different capacities.Dan – Listen to his nutrition advice. I ignored a lot of it at first because it was a lot of change and I am kind of stubborn. The second I started listening, pounds started flying off of me. He knows what he is talking about. Jerome – This is who I primarily work with. He knows his stuff, and just how much to push you to help you keep moving forward. Russ – Teaches martial arts. Great person, great coach. Knows how to teach you in a fun manner. If you are ready to make a life style change (it isn’t just going to the gym an hour a day, it is everything you do at home as well), I highly recommend coming here. You will see results as long as you’re honest with yourself and do your part at home.
